We will introduce a case study using our products to address the issue of instability in processing due to a decrease in water temperature.

We would like to introduce a case study of low-temperature countermeasures implemented at a certain confectionery manufacturing factory. This factory typically handles operations well under low load conditions, but during low-temperature periods (around 12°C), the biological activity drops drastically, leading to unstable processing. ◆Customer's Concerns◆ In the pond within the roadside station facility where fishing can be enjoyed, the increase in water temperature during the summer has led to the proliferation of algae, making it difficult to see crayfish and other aquatic life. Time has been consumed on algae removal efforts. ◆Usage Situation◆ There are ponds for crayfish and koi, but this time, the treatment was applied only to the crayfish pond. The pond has a water volume of about 60㎥, so 2 liters were applied as a trial. (An additional 2 liters will be added after one month.) This was conducted during the summer when temperatures are high. ◆Customer Feedback◆ I used to scoop algae from the water surface every year, but this year I haven't scooped it even once, and I believe the proliferation of algae has been suppressed. The adjacent koi pond is murky and has algae growth. Typically, the crayfish pond also experiences similar algae proliferation.

However, the water was not circulating due to algae clogging the pump. After replacing the pump and adding more vitality bacteria, the algae growth also improved. ◆Customer Feedback◆ Although the pump was replaced, the use of vitality bacteria has suppressed the algae growth and odor, and after about two years, the pump has not clogged with algae. Residents are able to live comfortably.

Lime-based substrate improvement agent "Kalsan Marine"

A limestone-based substrate improvement agent that collapses after reaching the seabed. It is also used for preventing white spot disease in marine aquaculture.

When "Kalsan Marine" is dispersed, it causes a rapid increase in pH and reaction heat, leading to the death of cysts in the soil that cause white spot disease. It is optimal for preventing the occurrence of white spot disease and for emergency measures during outbreaks. This product is made from quicklime and slaked lime.
